Control the sound. Tune the tone.
The 2013–2020 Volkswagen Golf GTI MK7 / MK7.5 Control Exhaust System is engineered to give you full control over the GTI’s turbocharged sound while enhancing performance, response, and daily drivability. Featuring a valved Control catback system, it allows you to switch seamlessly between a refined tone and a more aggressive exhaust note on demand.
Available in resonated or non-resonated configurations, this system gives you the flexibility to tailor the sound to your preference:
-
Resonated: smoother, more refined tone with reduced drone and controlled volume
-
Non-Resonated: louder, sharper, and more aggressive exhaust note with increased presence
Resonated systems are specifically designed to reduce unwanted frequencies and cabin drone while maintaining performance, making them ideal for daily driving.
Available in stainless steel 304 or Grade 5 titanium, this system gives you the choice between durability with a deep, refined tone, or reduced weight with a sharper, more exotic sound profile.
By improving exhaust flow over the restrictive factory system, this setup enhances turbo response, increases power delivery, and amplifies the GTI’s signature turbocharged sound. With valves closed, the system remains quiet and comfortable. Open the valves, and it delivers a deeper, more aggressive tone with improved flow and responsiveness.
Constructed using precision TIG welding and mandrel-bent tubing, the system is built to withstand high temperatures while maintaining optimal airflow. Designed as a direct bolt-on system, installation is seamless with no cutting required.
Refined when you want it.
Aggressive when you need it.
